Gathering Feedback
Amsterdam introduced many new elements, from technology like an online gathering place, program submission/voting tool, live streaming and a way for anyone to share content like session material. On the program side, there were bare talks, lightning talks, idea camps and Scrum Group Clinic.
With change in staffing who knows what the future will bring. It’s up to the community now more than ever to speak loudly about what matters most, or risk losing something of value.
Also, please ADD YOUR OWN IDEAS to make future Gatherings even better than this one.
DEADLINE: Forum open for ONE WEEK, until Nov 24.

Use an open process for submitting and voting on content
We used UserVoice for people to submit ideas for bare talks, idea camps, lightning talks, scrum group clinic and large scale games. People then voted and commented on proposals.

Use Posterous as a low barrier way to submit content
Participants were able to share notes, photos, video of sessions, social fun or whatever by simply composing an email. That content was then tweaked if necessary then posted to the event web site, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube automatically.

Fireside chat
Original plan for Tobias to host a chat with Donna Farmer, new MD which turned into a pseudo panel with other board members and Mike Beedle. Members submitted and voted on questions ahead of time for Tobias to ask Donna.

Save Opening for 2nd half of Day 1
Schedule the intro stuff to happen at the end of the day after the deep dives - people are ready for networking and talking stuff around 3 PM. It would also give people a chance to share what they learned
